Hünegg Castle ((ドイツ語:Schloss Hünegg)) is a castle in the municipality of Hilterfingen of the Canton of Bern in Switzerland. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance. ==History== Hünegg Castle was built in 1861-63 for the Prussian Baron Albert Emil Otto von Parpart. However, he was only able to enjoy the castle for a few years since he died in 1869.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=Schloss Hünegg website )〕 It eventually passed to his nephew in 1883, who sold off the art collection and then in 1893 sold it to the Berlin commercial judge Karl Lehmann.〔(Official municipal website - History ) accessed 26 August 2014.〕 He owned the property for only six years before it was acquired by Gustav Lemke-Schuckert. Lemke-Schuckert, an architect from Wiesbaden, renovated the interior in the Art Nouveau style. At the beginning of World War II the castle was sold to Oscar Haag from Küsnacht, who then sold the building to the Canton in 1958. Today it houses the Renaissance Revival and Art Nouveau Museum.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=Swiss Castles.ch Bern: Schloss Hunegg )〕
